Terragene Bionova® BT20 Self-Contained Biological Indicator

Terragene Bionova® BT20 Self-Contained Biological Indicators have been designed for monitoring of vacuum assisted and gravity air displacement Steam sterilization cycles at 121 to 135°C. If the sterilization process was not effective, the indicator medium will turn from purple to yellow after incubation between 55 to 62°C, thus indicating the presence of living Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores. If the sterilization process was effective, the indicator medium will remain purple after incubation. The final readout should be performed at 24 hours of incubation between 55 to 62°C.
