Ertco’s Exact-Temp® thermometers come in several ranges to monitor the critical temperatures in ultra-low freezers, refrigerators, freezers, blood bank refrigerators, incubators and ovens. Each thermometer is mounted in a square-shaped shatter-proof plastic bottle filled with a liquid to ensure accurate readings despite the opening and closing of instrument doors.

The thermometers have engraved stems and are thoroughly annealed for lasting accuracy. Each thermometer has its own unique serial number and has been tested against a standard calibrated at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.). A certificate of accuracy is supplied with the thermometer, making its indications traceable to N.I.S.T.

Each thermometer is safety-coated with Teflon® which absorbs shock and will contain all the glass and liquid within the Teflon® jacket should breakage occur.

The Exact-Temp® bottle has a double magnet attached on one side so it can be affixed to the walls or doors of instruments to reduce space and breakage problems.
