The OmniVID™ MicroCap 2.0 software is a multifunctional, easy-to-use, user-friendly package. Its basic functions include jpeg and bitmap digital imaging, time lapse interval imaging, and mpeg digital video. Choose resolution quality from 1 to 8 megapixels. Control the camera from the software, including exposure, brightness, contrast and white balance or just simply select “auto” for easier use. If you ever come across a questionable cell under 1000X, use the digital zoom function to get 4X (4000X) magnification. By using a stage micrometer, you can easily calibrate this measuring software, and once calibrated, it is fast and easy to measure the diameter of your specimen.
