Ertco alcohol hydrometers are dual scale and graduated in Taille and Proof scales. Taille scale indicates percent ethyl alcohol by weight in water; Proof scale indicates the proof of alcohol at 60°F. Model 2510 is plain form (without thermometer) and model 2510C is combined for (with thermometer).
