For long term storage (up to two years), the Whirl-Pak® Retain Bag will protect the sample and save money and space.

• Has extremely low permeability for oxygen and moisture

The result is that sample integrity will be maintained during storage for both liquids and solids The bag is sterilized with radiation, because gas sterilization will not penetrate the film. If a sample is going to be tested periodically, closing the bag in the regular manner will be sufficient. However, if the bag will be kept closed for an extended period, a heat healer can be used to give the bag a permanent seal.
