Latex Gloves

Often referred to as natural rubber, this material is inherently elastic and resilient, plus it resists many bases, acids, alcohols, alkalis, salts, and fair protection against undiluted ketones and aldehydes. Natural rubber latex is also blended with or dipped in other polymers to achieve a combination of features, such as the abrasion resistance of Nitrile with the flexibility of latex.

NOTE: Although rare, allergic reactions to the proteins in natural rubber latex gloves have been reported. If latex sensitivity is known or suspected, switching to Nitrile or neoprene is recommended.
