The remarkable corrosion resistant qualities of Zirconium are being used extensively in the chemical processing industry. Zirconium will withstand a wider range of caustics and acids to a greater degree than any other commonly used fabricating material.

Lithium salt fusions
Ideal for sodium peroxide fusions conducted by hand over gas flame at temperatures between 460°C (860°F) and 900°C (1652°F). Will withstand about 100 two- to five-minute fusions within that range. Temperatures above 900°C (1652°F) will damage the crucible and reduce its useful service life.
Standard wall thickness is 0.035”; heavier wall 0.045” and 0.080” thicknesses are also available. Crucibles are also available with slide-on ring, snap-on ring or flanged rim for automatic fusion equipment.
